    The opportunity

A practical model for established training providers

We welcome enquiries from established private training institutions, technical colleges and HSE service providers across Africa and other regions. The programme is designed for organisations that can recruit learners, supply suitable tutors, coordinate local delivery and provide day-to-day learner support while OHS directs curriculum delivery and academic standards.

Each appointment covers an agreed country or territory, delivery location, language and mode. Partnerships become operational only after the required checks and written authorisations are complete.

    A clear division of responsibilities

    How the partnership works

    What OHS Compliance Group provides

    • Responsibility for curriculum delivery and quality assurance of the approved training programme.
    • Direction of programme delivery, learning plans, teaching standards and academic oversight.
    • Management of NEBOSH compliance requirements for provision under OHS.
    • Learner registration administration and NEBOSH assessment bookings.
    • Review of partner-supplied tutors and coordination of required NEBOSH submissions before teaching begins.
    • Assessment communications, closing interview coordination, results and certificate administration.
    • Administrative guidance and an escalation route for learners and partners.

    What your organisation provides

    • Local marketing, learner recruitment and coordination.
    • Sourcing and engaging competent tutors who teach under OHS academic direction once approved.
    • Local delivery coordination and day-to-day learner support, including revision and feedback under OHS academic direction.
    • Suitable premises or approved online delivery facilities, equipment and connectivity.
    • Appropriately licensed course materials and resources for the approved language.
    • Accurate learner, attendance, progress and support records.
    • Local operating permissions and cooperation with quality reviews.

Partnership arrangements are discussed directly with each institution following an initial assessment.

    Tutor and quality requirements

Partners source and engage their tutors. Tutors must meet the applicable NEBOSH criteria and complete OHS review and all required NEBOSH registration, notification or approval steps for the authorised teaching team before they teach under OHS academic direction.

OHS is responsible for curriculum delivery and quality assurance, directing learning plans, teaching standards and academic oversight. OHS may review delivery, observe teaching, contact learners and require improvements. The partnership does not confer independent NEBOSH accreditation on the partner or individual tutors.
